Synergy Support
This message appears if you have a single-user version of a program and there appears to be another copy already in use.
Each time the program is started up it "logs in" and checks for the presence of other Synergy users active on the system. If there is already a user of the same product and you are running a single-user version the product will refuse to load until the other user has finished.
However if a program doesn't get the chance to closed down properly, as might happen in the case of a power failure or system crash, it can't "log out". If that happens the method used to track other users may become confused and next time you try to run the program it thinks there is someone else already there!
Solution: If you get this message and you are quite sure that there are no other users of the program on the system, proceed as follows:
Normal operation should now be possible.
