KBW10102: Licence code does not match the current installation. Please re-register the product using the original settings

If a Skyewright version is installed over the top of some earlier Software Solutions (UK) Limited supplied versions you may experience difficulty getting the registration code to "stick", i.e. the code is accepted on entry, but when you next run the program you get a message saying that the licence code does not match the current installation.
The cause is a configuration file which can be left behind by the earlier Software Solutions registration system.

Solution: Using Windows Explorer, locate the folder containing the application.
This is probably something like
C:\SOFTSOL\SMWIN
C:\SOFTSOL\PRFWIN
C:\SOFTSOL\JMW
C:\SKYEWRGT\SMWIN
C:\SKYEWRGT\PRFWIN
or
C:\SKYEWRGT\JMW
depending on the exact application and your choice of installation directory.

Select the file Options.cfg
Delete that file.
Windows will ask for confirmation, pointing out that the file is read- only, but that's okay.

The registration details should then "stick".
